Technological platforms    

Since 2004, the CIRIMAT Carnot Institute hosts the National Spark Plasma Sintering (SPS) 

Platform (Plateforme Nationale de Frittage Flash, PNF2), equipped with one of the most 

powerful SPS in Europe. 
The CIRIMAT is a member of the federative structure « Fermat » as well as of competitiveness 

clusters such as Aeronautics-Space-Embarked systems (AESE) and Cancer-Bio-Health (CBS). 

It is also co-founder of the French-German BioCapabili Engineering cluster (antimicrobial 

materials) and partner of technical platforms such as Technopolym (polymers) or else GALA 

(technologies for pharmacotechnic sciences).
