Fats and oils at the heart of innovation

The mission of the LISA Carnot Institute is to develop new technology in order

to boost the offer and competitive edge of the fats and oils industry.
The market positioning of the LISA Carnot Institute and its partnerships with

research centres, industrial players, academic institutions and economic players,

play a key role in developing  and bringing new processes to the market.
13 research teams, representing a total of 206 people, work for the LISA

Carnot Institute, whose activities engage interdisciplinary scientific

skills and competences in chemistry, physics and biology.
The LISA Carnot Institute merges 3 different research centres.
The geographical distribution of these centres in four separate administrative regions

means that the LISA Carnot Institute covers a wide part of the French territory,

and is therefore in a position to develop strong local partnerships with SMEs.
