Alexandre Bounouh succeeds Philippe Véron at the end of his second term as President of the Association des instituts Carnot.
In 2019, Alexandre Bounouh was appointed CEO of CEA-List, an Institute with 1,000 engineers and researchers working in the field of Smart Digital Systems. He joined CEA-List in 2015, first as head of the Sensors and Electronic Architectures Laboratory and then as head of the Metrology, Instrumentation & Information Division.
Previously, Alexandre Bounouh was Director of electrical Metrology Division at the National Laboratory of Metrology and Testing (LNE) where he managed over a decade several technical activities and teams dealing with international projects in material science, quantum metrology and micro and nanosystems applications. He has been within Bureau-Veritas as program manager for a couple of years and associate professor in physics at the University of Paris-Saclay.
Alexandre Bounouh received his Ph.D. degree in material science from the University of Paris-Saclay, his HDR from the University of Toulouse, and an Executive M.B.A. from both Dauphine and UQAM-Montreal Universities.
