WOODSTIC explores a new frontier: transforming wood into a thermoplastic material without fossil-based polymers. An innovative, sustainable and patented alternative!
The start-up is the result of an intercarnot AIDAV project (Innovative Approaches for the Detection of Respiratory Virus Agents in Cattle) between Carnot France Futur Élevage and CEA LETI. AIDAV is based on the detection of respiratory viruses in the exhaled air of cattle. CEA-Leti developed an innovative method that led to the creation of nawu diagnostics—a start-up offering a fast, non-invasive diagnostic tool for livestock.
On 12 and 13 June 2025, CEA-List is organising its flagship event, bringing together more than 500 players and decision-makers (from industry, science, academia and institutions) to focus on two key themes: accelerating the development of technological innovations and bringing them to market, and anticipating the integration of disruptive technologies into companies’ innovation strategies. The Carnot Network is a partner of this event.
Biomunex Pharmaceuticals, a long-standing partner of Institut Curie Cancer, and Ipsen, a global biopharmaceutical group focused on the development of innovative medicines, announced in December 2024 the conclusion of an exclusive global licensing agreement for BMX-502, Biomunex's first MAIT cell activator ("MAIT engager").
A revolutionary discovery by the Catalysis & Spectrochemistry Laboratory, a member of the Carnot Energy and Propulsion Systems (ESP), published in Nature Magazine! For the first time, a stable aluminosilicate zeolite with intrinsic mesopores has been designed.
Appointed Executive Director of Paris Brain Institute accredited Carnot for a five-year term, Professor Stéphanie Debette took up her new position on January 1, 2025. She succeeds Professor Alexis Brice, who has served as Executive Director since 2012.
